Hello everyone, I would just like to know who likes Client Exec, and what they think about it.

Did not vote because im in the middle, I like it.... but it lacks in features.

I voted Yes, but I'm with sysc -- if they come out with a new version with the features and power to rival the other software providers, I'll definitely be a bit more pushy when recommending it.

There are other solutions which offer more, but we use CE. It is easy to use and has all the features we require. It's powerful and the price is right.

hmm...account disabled. Poll is not very well thought out because it only gives a neutral and extreme choices. CE is a good product that has great potential, but is lacking in certain areas and while I know Alberto is working on these and wants to ensure stable product with each release, I really think he needs to step up the timetable a bit...:)

Personally though for the money it's a great product and does the job.

We use it, and it is nice. It does lacks some features, but works well for most of the things we do.

I also the the look of it and its useability.

I didn't vote but "yes", I like clientexec, in fact I'm still using it but I'm currently moving to modernbill. I think CE has massive potential and I would stay with them if I could but I really need the extra features another program already has, I am keeping my license for now so that if all these features become available I'll still have it.

Support for CE has been good, I've always had no problems getting in touch with Alberto on the forums, the interface is very easy to understand and learn, etc...

Again, I really like CE and I'll recommend it to anyone but I just decided I didn't want to wait any longer for the extra features since there was another product that already had the ones I wanted.

Does ClientExec automaticly setup accounts in your WHM for you when a new user signs up?

A lot of things have been promised for a long time now... I wouldn't hold your breath :rolleyes:

We've had 2 *very* minor releases in the past year. I'm begining to wonder if anyone is actually working on the script at all anymore.

There is a user contribution that allows for this feature, it is not supported by the CE staff but I did try it out when I was using CE and it worked great.

*I do believe the CE staff is still developing this program, I just think they are trying to get it done right the first time. I would rather have a much more stable product that multiple tiny updates.

We are using this, Its good, but its has limited features.

I've been through Modernbill, phpmanager, Optigold ISP, a desktop billing solution called iWork, and Quickbooks.

Then I came across ClientExec.

I love it. My customers love it. It does what's advertised, is fully supported, and doesn't screw my clients' billing up. I recommend it in a heartbeat. :)

BTW, I personally do not do the auto-account set up bit, and fully intentionally. We put every sign-up through an extensive manual fraud screening. By the time our staff got around to screening auto-signups, a spammer could have already sent out 30,000 e-mails.... :( clean IP space is absolutely critical to us, so manual set-ups are a small price to pay for top-quality service. ;)
