Well I just installed a new webserver and everything is running fine. BUT one of my clients needs front page extensions, so I installed them and configured them. The problem is when you go into IE and hit the edit with front page icon it brings the page up in FP but it isnt actually connected to the server. How do I get it to authenticate and open the remote file??????

You need to create an NT user for the customer and then configure that user as an Administrator on that account in frontpage. Read up on the commandline frontpage tools for more info.
