Is this server located at Nac or Equinix? Nac is much-much better than equinix in term of burtability, am I right? Have you started the contract or not? If you have (and actually is running the server right now), why would we have to pay the one-time fee again?

I have a server hosted @ Equinix, and I have to say they are VERY reliable. For 2 months I had 100% uptiime, not bad. :)

what's your transfer rate? How burstable is the server?
Also if you already own the server, why would we need to pay extra for the 1st month? Is the first month still $266 if you don't need control panel? Let me know, I might be interested ...

The $266 is the total amount due till November 5th. So if you pay $266 it will cover you till November 5th 2001. The speeds are very fast, I think its fully bursable. I'm not 100% sure you may have to ask pwebtech about that. Uptime has been 100%. Not a single second of downtime.

I really don't want to let go of this server :bawling: because it's so cheap and the connectivity is awesome however because of my current position I have no choice. All I can say is the bandwidth allotment and connectivity will save you a lot in the years to come!

You can do test downloads of a 300kb file on my server at 64.156.2.14/test_download.htm . Also feel free to use my IP for other measures. It has been my experience that the apparent transfer rate, burstability, and conectivity can vary a great deal. Most times it is good, sometimes it is not.

If you plan on reselling your contract. You, the owner of the contract are responsible for providing Pegasus with the name and contact information of the person who will be receiving your server.

I have received calls all day in regards to these issues, I don't want to promise the server to someone and have the person selling the contract promise it to someone else.

If you are interested in this server please contact the current owner of the server and they will decide who will take over the contract.
