Hi,

If I were to install webalizer today (I just uninstalled an older version) where would be the best place to go to get a .PKG file? I'd like to make sure it doesn't screw up the PHP.ini file and what-have-you....

thanks,

I should have said I am looking for a 2.01 version PKG. I can't seem to find any.

Hi Chicken,

So this one doesn't have any problems with the October 4th/timestamp problem?

Don't know, and I'm not going to waste too much time figuring it due to a server change, heh. Hopefully someone else will know...

If the new server isn't up soon, I'll take a whack at it and see...

i installed the 2.01 package from sourceforge on the 5th, not knowing anything about this 4th stuff, and it has worked perfectly since. this is a raq 4i.

i installed most of the other sourceforge packages as well, and they seem to have worked fine. i especially like the webalizer-auth-userdir-1.30.04.i386 PKG....

aaanywho...

With the new 2.01, you don't need this package. It is set to /users/stats directory.

This is in RED at the site

Warning! This update is not compatible with the older versions (webalizer-auth*)!!

Hi there,

I got an error when running ./webalizer.pl after installing it from the sourceforge site.

This is the error:

Error: Unable to LOCK DNS cache file /home/log/reverse.dns

I should note that I had webalizer installed and the uninstalled it all (or what I thought was all)...

Thanks

You might have a spurious webalizer process running that is already using the DNS cache.

Do a ps -Af | grep webalizer to see if one is lingering. If it is, kill it.
