I'm looking to get a laptop, the max I wan't to spend is $2000, however less is nice, and hopefully one that comes with a port replicator/or docking station. I like the looks of the dell 600m, but I haven't looked very many places yet. Any suggestions or experiences for what Brand / Model / Places to buy?

I looked and searched and couldn't find a latitude 2150??

That exotic laptop does look very nice, but I'd be a little afraid of buying a no-name brand system on ebay.. Just seems risky but I don't know. How do you like yours?

its not no name, its actually a sager, I believe - and I havent received mine yet(paid monday) - their lead time is like Dell - they build, burn in, then ship.

They've been around a long time though, atleast a couple of years - Ive seen XoticPC around for a while and by now if they were crap I'd know about it.

Go ahead and find one that fits your budget if mine doesnt - Ive seen some of theres for ~$1700 i think

I got mine - Brand New Inspiron 600m last month off eBay for $1300 including shipping. It's a pretty nice laptop, but if I were to buy a laptop now, I would go with Latitude D600, it's ligher and smoother than the 600m.
Dell were running a promotion on D500 for - as far as I recall $1400 last week.
A friend of mine has gotten a Toshiba Satellite 2.3 GHz Pentium few weeks ago for $1499 from Best Buy, the laptop looks HUGE in terms of size and weight comparing to Dell laptops.

I would highly recommend either 600m or D500.
