I've just registered after finding this site last night (very useful resource by the way!).

I've been looking at a new host called Magic Moments for transferring a couple of sites to from my current ISP - this host provides ASP hosting as well as MySQL.

However, has anyone in this forum used them? and are they reliable?

There was another very informative post by JenniH which reviewed numerous hosts, but unfortunately not this one.

Apologies to the moderators if this is completely the wrong place for the message. Also, I don't know whether I can put the URL for Magic Moments in this message after reading the forum rules?

do a search on webfusion, you should get alot of results. i'm assuming that as both webfusion and magic-moments both run myserverworld they offer the same features. as for service i can't speculate.

I think you will find that you are getting ASP support under Linux, which is not the same animal at all as ASP under Windows hosting. I could be wrong, but do ask "Is this Windows hosting or Linux?"

If you want to use ASP, get Windows hosting, it's as simple as that. Many Windows hosts support MySQL.

Magic Moments and WebFusion are more or less interchangeable, as far as I know the difference is more branding than anything else. They are a big company. Search on WebFusion here.
