Hello there, I am currently looking for a low paid live and e-mail support and live and e-mail sales support job position.

I am able to answer questions through e-mail most hours of the day, and able to do live support at least 1 hour a day Monday – Friday, and 2 – 4 hours Saturday and Sunday.

So: 5 Hours + 4 – 8 hours= 9 – 13 hours a week LIVE support (MSN, Yahoo or on web based live support)

I am usually online a good 7 – 10 hours a day however 7 hours of that Monday – Friday I am at college. Where I am studying an Advanced ICT course including CCNA for Cisco.

During these 7 – 10 hours I am able to answer e-mails or trouble tickets online, most probably looking at e-mails/trouble tickets at least every 30 Minutes

I am not looking for much, just enough for me to purchase a small VPS and a few college peripherals.

I thought about $60 - $70/month would be around good: $15 - $17.50/week

If I worked 9 hours live support: $1.60 - $1.94/hour

And that’s not including any e-mails for support or tickets I answer, so roughly, predicting I answer tickets adding up to 30 Minutes a day:

3.5hours of answering tickets:

12.5 hours work

$17.50 divided by 12.5 hours = $1.40/hour

Just an example

My skills involve:

Knowing about hosting
Knowing CPanel
Roughly knowing Ensim & Plesk, I can learn the way around in about 15 minutes
Knowing little PHP
Knowing HTML
Knowing CSS
Knowing Graphics design
Knowing basic Linux commands
Knowing networking

It’s kind of hard explaining everything I know, but I learn fairly well.

I would like as many offers as possible; any range of income would be fine.

If you offer VPS, or even low level servers, and feel you can offer me something in return for support that would be great as well. I understand you would want a good 2 weeks of work out of me to see how well I do first.

Please post here, PM or steve@dislexik.com

Employers really aren't supposed to pay you less then minimum wage and doing so is actually illegal. Even though you're the one requesting that amount, it's not legal for them to hire you for that much. If you work in return for a VPS that should be fine. But, by law you can't work for less then whatever the minimum wage is in your state.

I live in the UK, so minimum wage is actually £3.50 for me (About $6.00 :P) But I am not totally bothered about this, I am just after a little bit of money so I can get a VPS or small server to practice Linux etc on, money also so I can purchase a few books including Ciscos.

BVS:

Thank you for the reply, regarding my resume I am not sure what I am supposed to input into it.

I must state now, regarding CPanel, I know how the front end works, how to restart services from the front end (WHM) and a reseller and a general user. A few people have asked me if I can be there Admin, however I know little about being an admin, hence the reason I am trying to get some money together to get college books and a little server/VPS to learn on.

If you thought I was looking for an Admin job, please let me know, if not and you understood where I am coming from, again let me know and I will send you my details and what I know etc.

Well basically we are looking for technicians to assist our customers with our web hosting and dedicated server division so tasks like troubleshooting would be necessary therefore you would have to know a bit about servers and how they work. PM me how much you are looking for per ticket, where you are from and the hours you will be able to work in EST and I will get back to you shortly.
