for those of you looking at a resellerworkz plan, thought i would post my experiences so far. i have been with resellerworkz since august last year and i don't regret moving to them one single bit.

unlike my previous host, resellerworkz provide me with support when ever i need it. when i first joined them i asked their support people a heap of questions and they answered each one promptly - i seriously thought they would of gotten sick of me. :D

although i rarely use their support now, when i have it has still been at the high standard it was when i first signed up with resellerworkz.

Do the private name servers come with unique IP's???

How long does it take have an account setup?

To answer your questions:

1. Yes, private nameservers come with 2 unique IP addresses, one for the primary namserver and the second for the secondary nameserver.

2. Allow up to 6 hours from the time your order is placed to receive your login details. Usually accounts are setup much faster than this.

3. Yes, we sure do provide real techincal support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will receive a fast response from our Tech Support team at anytime of the day or night! Support is obtained via our help desk by emailing support@resellerworkz.com.

Well, I will be looking for a good reseller plan soon, so I've been keeping my eyes open, and this looks really good. I'm also impressed with Greg's quick response and courteous attitude about questions. This is the kind of thing that gives people a good initial impression, and with so many choices these days, you usually only get once chance to make a lasting impression before people move on to the next company on the long list.

Greg, do you think you might be accepting PayPal in the future? That's the only drawback I see for me personally right now.

I believe Kathy (our billing lady) is looking at PayPal as we have received a few requests to use it, however, at this point in time, payment is via credit card only.

I'm looking to switch reseller providers and your deals are awesome. Couple of questions...

1. What do I need to do in order to move all my clients, domains and such to your servers? I want a seamless transfer even if it means doing it in the wee hours of the night to make sure no orders are placed on the e-commerce site.

2. Will there be any downtime with the transfer? I currently host a very busy e-commerce site and they would not appreciate losing customers or orders.

3. What is your downtime like? With my current host I really did not have a problem until the last couple of months, it been awfull

Hi Sammy,

To answer your questions:

1. To move your accounts from the CPanel/WHM server to our servers, we will need some information for eahc account like the server's IP address, account username & password and the domain name. A fee of $0.75 is charged for each transferred account.

2. No, there will not be any downtime as long as you keep your accounts with your old webhost active until your accounts have been successfully transferred across to our servers. Then you would submit a request with the domain registrar's to change the nameservers your accounts point to, to our servers. Once the nameserver change has propagated through the Internet, close your old accounts. That's it.

3. Our uptime is excellent. We did have a small problem with one of our servers recently due to a malicious script, but that never resulted in the entire server being down. The datacenters our servers are in are very reliable.

I am looking for a new hosting company for my sites. I am currently using a Linux server at ECP Hosting who are very good but my main site has outgrown what they can supply.

My main site needs about 1.5gb disk space and around 100gb per month data transfer. It is currently using 4 SQL databases for Forums (Vbulletin), Free classifieds, picture galleries (Photopost) and Guestbook. I use only about 20 or 30 email adresses.

I have three other sites that are currently quite small within the same reseller plan and will likely have two or three more in the near future.

I am not expert in server side at all so I do need a hosting company with helpful support and who will move fast when there is a problem.

Please advise what you can offer.
