There are two types of online casino as far as I know:

Playing against AI, which is also the most profitable but the winning chance is even smaller than real life because we do not know how the script are programed, could be cheated in favor of the website.

Playing for real money against other players, this is more popular but I don't know how the website is getting money, peharps a commission from winning players?

Anyway, have you ever tried it? win or lose? how different from real life casino? And how profitable the business is, because I believe it's second behind adult insdutry, after seeing a new online casino/scam online casino everyday.

A few months back I play a free one. I was winning fake money. I was going to register for the real one to test my luck, but then I thought, im only winning because its free.

But, I like leaving Casinos up to my family members. I hate to lose money.

I've played quite a bit at http://www.gamingclubpoker.com, the tournaments are pretty fun. You can win decent money playing in the big tournaments if you get on a good run.

I'm one of the guys that never has 'luck' in such games actually. So I prefer to keep my money instead of loosing it.

I wouldn't ever use an online casino. Firstly, the atmosphere isn't the same, and second of all, theres no way that you can tell whether the site is cheating, and if you play against AI, then it almost certainly is programmed in favour of the site. How else would they make money?

I actually tried it once with an initial investment of $150 and won $858 in about 45 mins. It wasn't a terrible experience, just not like the real thing. I would do it again if I was low on cash, but it has no excitement to it. :)

How else would they make money? Same way any other casino does. The odds in every casino game favor the house, and they take their cut of games like poker where the competition is directly between the players.

For that matter, "real world" casinos could cheat and get away with it just as easily as online ones could, though using different techniques. But both are subject to strict regulation and inspections of their techniques, and again both have the odds in their favor enough that they'll profit even playing honestly.

Needless to say real life casinos are under constant investigation and surveillance and cheating would not easily go by unnoticed.

I did a test long time ago (about 8 month) on setting up Online Casino. I tested 2 online casino and each one (from a diffrent company) had diffrent "stats" in winning in certin game. For example the black jack in the first Online Casino I started was bad (didnt win much), but the second Online Casino I started the Black Jack was much better.

I messed with a free one, seemed pretty boring... I don't believe every country regulates the online ones as much as the real ones..
