Hello,

I just started using Plesk about 3 hours ago. I have read/browsed through the manual but could not find the info I wanted.

I believe I have things configured correctly.

When I login using the admin account I see the following:
Client Name: Shawn Thayer
When clicking on client name I see my domain: bestofhumor.com

For DNS Settings I get: ( I have not submitted the change request yet)
bestofhumor. com. NS ns. bestofhumor. com.
ns. bestofhumor. com. A 192. 220. 171. 251
bestofhumor. com. A 192. 220. 171. 251
ftp. bestofhumor. com. CNAME bestofhumor. com.
mail. bestofhumor. com. CNAME bestofhumor. com.
www. bestofhumor. com. CNAME bestofhumor. com.
bestofhumor. com. MX 10 mail. bestofhumor. com.
192. 220. 171. 251/24 PTR bestofhumor. com.

The problem I am getting is that, I can't get my index page to show up. I even created a domain user: bestofhumor and logged into FTP like that, and upload my index page in the htdocs folder, but by going to the IP address it does not show up?

Anyone familiar with this process at all?

So many passwords/usernames involved in plesk!

What exactly is not showing up? Or what is showing up. Do you get the default plesk page?

Plesk.com has forums, and they are EXTREMELY helpful. I believe the url is http://forum.plesk.com

I am just getting the default plesk page instead of the index page that I uploaded. I uploaded the pages under the user account I created

I will check out the Plesk forums, was just waiting for them to send me my activation code, took longer than I had hoped.

You did remember to remove any other index file right?

yep, I removed the old index and even put my new page up in place. It looks like I needed to create a new IP for the site, instead of using the server IP but at first that is all they gave me was the server IP.

Working now at 3 a.m. to see if I can get it
