The economy plan of hostrocket.com at http://www.hostrocket.com/v2/hosting_plans.html is same with the special x3 plan of www.nuke.to , but the price is only a half of hostrocket. What do you think about it?

Anyone has experience with nuke.to? are they good? about the connection , and support .

Despite what creepcolony heard, hostrocket is great. Servers have great uptime, trouble tickets are answered in a timely manner (usually in 1 hour for me depending on the situation), and with Hostrocket you get the most bang for your buck so to speak. So I strongly recommend HR.

Have to disagree with you bad-D, was with HR for 4 months just recently and there are by FAR better hosts.

While I had little trouble technically (Besides regular down time which I am sure continues to plauge host 15 (I know you know about that, and host 14) which I am sure covers very many users) there was constant negative forum posts by obviously irritated and frustrated users, that seemed to disapear at obviously advantageous times to HR (Noted many times within the forums often with interesting feedback from regular posters, like it happens yes, but hey I dont have any problems!, yea yea.

No I do not have a bone to pick with them. I watched their forums for over a month, registered for service because it was cheap (Which defiinitely applies with them) tried them for over 3 months and left very disatisfied.

The stability of that host is definitely not there.

The lack of support is represented in the responses on the forum from support, lack of inteligible and complete responses through their ticket system.

They have a shiny new web site by pixel brick, complete with bad grammar and mispellings.

Do yourself a favor and stay very far away from Hostrocket for a long time coming. They need to grow up in many ways. Having a lot of customers is definitely not doing this host any good.

The professionalism should rise with the amount of customers.

This is from an informed and recently experienced customer of theirs.

I left for www.mbshost.com and have not regretted it since. (Two months now) they are new and moving to a new datacenter but the support is solid.

LOL! Yea, I noticed that to. I had to leave due to certain circumstances, but overall, they were pretty good. I have to admin their responses were quite short, and there was small downtime sometimes, but the SPEED WAS GREAT. It was lightening speed FAST, and their control panel was ok too. I really like the DarkOrb CP BETTER NOW THOUGH. Its a lot nicer, and many people also agree with me, some even telling me VDI's is obsolete.

For beginners and personal sites, IT'S GREAT, but I was starting to get VERT TECHNICAL, etc., and therefore I'm not sure if I would host a business site there. The price is very good now though....

Thats where I remember the name.

Hey there Kyle!

Notice I had Keegan2?

Thats because they deleted my account and blocked the username.

What was strange about it (And this is before I signed up for services) is that I was professional and courteous)

Their forum is definitely not a sales question forum, it is a pedastal for them to skew the truth.

Yes they might be ok for begginers, but really better tools, better hosts help the beginners a lot better than a dull knife and and a lot of down time. I mean that place had regular down time.

Kyle, check my new host (I am on dialup so I cant tell the speed difference)

My DNS is updating (modestocalifornian.net)

If I had to choose between those two I simply would not have a web site.

Both have a horrible amount of grammar mistakes on each site.

To show this kind of quality on the very first page only shows the type of customer they want to deal with.

Seek another host besides both of these.

If I were you, I'd look for another choice. There has been much said about HostRocket in many forums lately and nuke.to has no track record. Besides, the nuke.to site look's really weak. That alone would really worry me.

It is my experience that the new small companies often bite off more than they can chew. Usually, one man operations that are leasing cheap and poorly supported servers.

I'd look for someone that has been around awhile and has good past and current posts from customers.
