This is probably a simple answer, but i just don't know what to search for to find the answer. I have a spare winxp box with tons of HD space that i want to use for making another set of backups for MySQL databases. I have several important sites that run off of dbases, and i'm just not comfortable with only onsite backups. Is there a way to just use scheduled tasks to just go and get the file at a specified time each day and save it to my machine. Is there 3rd party software that can do this? I was going to use cron and wget on my linux box, but the xp machine is basically taking up space right now and i want to put it to good use. thanks for your help
