Hi,

I am searching for a support system that lets support team
answear to support tickets using WAP.

I know kayako esupport does this. Are there any others?

He had already mentioned that!

Box0 - I am not aware of any others that support it natively, but you might be able to customise one of the others out there.

Out of curiousity, why do you want to use WAP?

Probablt because it will allow his staff or him to reply to tickets while away from his machine at a guess.

Alternatively if you get a Pocket PC based PDA, you could actually surf the web using the intergrated IE which works great for me.

I think PocketPC is a good idea. Does you use GPRS for the connection? Also, won`t the transfer size be very large, and the bills get large ?

Yup, I do have GPRS and yes, it is cheaper that way. I guess cost is really not a big issue since at least I could be mobile and still support my clients. Most support tickets are usually not graphics intensive and since it is usually all text, it is not going to take up too much transfer size.

Yes. Are you using eSupport? I tried thier online WAP demo and it seemed very good.

Well, I'm currently trying to find the time to integrate (read rewrite) osTicket with Modernbill, and I will probably have a seperate addy just for the admin bit devoted to wap so I can use my treo 600 to admin the tickets.

Just dont have the time to finish it right now, but I will. If I find more time, I may start work on a theme that auto detects browser type and sets the theme accordingly. Bloody usefull idea for me as I hop between laptop and pda.

I use my Treo600 and eSupport WAP all the time. It's great.
