If you want to use Webmin for MySQL only, then use phpMyAdmin (http://phpmyadmin.sourceforge.net/) instead.

I only use Webmin as an absolute backup tool if there's something I can do myself or through the existing control panel.

Try using phpMyAdmin to work with MySQL instead of Webmin - it's just as easy.

Agree.

phpMyAdmin is excellent.

Although I have not installed Webmin on my RAQ the simple rule to follow ( according to other threads about it here and in other variuos forums ) is:
Things you CAN manage with the defaut Cobalt GUI should be managed with it ( DNS, user management etc ) and NOT with Webmin.

Use webmin only for tasks not possible to do with the Cobalt GUI.
