Hey

I'm looking to do 7 hours of varified community service. I cannot find any around here. I need to have it done by Feb. 15th...so I'm pretty desperate.

I've tried these places:
Hartland Department of Public Works
Local Library
The Food Pantry
The Hartland DPW, can only give me a maximum of 30 minutes a day, for my time schedual (school+getting there)

The Local Library isn't offering any.

The food pantry, well, they are only open 2 hours a week, one of those hours is an hour when I'm in Math Class, so I can't leave. The other is on a Saturday, but it would take me 7 weeks to get it done, and I don't have that much time.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Thanks.

Animal Shelters.

If you like animals you'll have a blast. I had to do something a long time ago (like 10 hours of community service) for a scholarship or something and got hooked on it. Don't have alot of time lately, but look into it.

Basically look for any Non-Profit organization in your area, You can also check things like boy scounts girl scouts etc..

Contact your local church youth group, shelters, etc. They should have something going on. Most places around here do all of the time.

See if there's a local 'Meals on Wheels' in your area. They provide a great service and there should be plenty of opportunity to help.
