View Full Version : how old are you?
dannylove 10-09-2001, 02:54 PM alright, first time posting a poll here at the forum. Lets see how this works.
So this is a basic question. I come from many forums and I always like to know the average age. I am currently 20 years of age :D soon to be 21 in Dec, w00t!
So how old are you?
danny~!

You'll be doing very well if you still feel like you're in your 30s when your kid is a teenager. ;)
rockergrrl 10-09-2001, 04:06 PM I'll be 38 when my son turns 18..... :)

Nick, you forgot my card. Now I'm going to send a jar of wasps for your birthday.
These topics make me feel old :(
Chicken 10-09-2001, 05:38 PM Whooo, good time to post this dannylove. Another couple of days and I'd have moved up one level. Luckily I can still sneak in at 30, *whew*.

Tim Greer 10-10-2001, 08:47 AM Wait, is this human years or dog years, or is this like a mental or physical thing?
Physically, I'm less than 30 and older than 28, yet I physically feel between 15 and 150 (depending on the day) and I'm mentally at about 12 (that never changes).
certify 10-10-2001, 09:53 AM Wow lots of young people here. :)

thewitt 10-10-2001, 11:56 AM I'm glad these polls come up on occasion, as it reminds me not too get too crazy when I'm discussing somthing like world politics. Most of the people who enter into the discussions here were not even born when Carter was president. I have socks older than the majority of you - and I still wear them...
SoftWareRevue 10-10-2001, 12:01 PM Whoo Hooo!! :D
Somebody older than me!
I'm so happy, I do the dance of joy! :wavey:
Tallon 10-10-2001, 12:16 PM Dog years :D I'd much rather vote on mental age but I put down physical.. damn, sucks to be me.

My kids often go to the back of my closet looking for something cool to wear. Imagine my surprise when my old clothes are in again. Now I can't wear them anymore since I've got dunlap's disease, but it's nice to see them getting used again :).

I'll be 38 when my son turns 18..... heh I've got you beat I think.... I wont be 38 until my son turns 22!! Uhhh I started a bit young in the family zone.
For those who actually want to do the math... my son is 13 ...
Tallon 10-10-2001, 05:18 PM Wow Deb, that's the same for me except it will be my daughter who will be 22 when I'm 38.

Heh, tell me about it. As you might know, I spend the majority of my days with 3rd graders. Yep, they don't relate to the the oldies but goodies such as, historical events, bands, etc. of the mid to late 90's. I think I just confuse them most of the time.

Hmm... I missed the Ford administration by 22 days (for those not knowledgeable in Presidential history, Ford left office on January 20, 1977 - I was born 22 days later).
Of course, I remember absolutely nothing about the Carter administration, being not quite 4 years old when he left office, but I have great memories of the Reagan administration.

I'm 16, will be 17 this December... :) I'm enjoying my high school years.... unfortunately they won't last much longer...
pcsteve 10-12-2001, 06:39 PM 28 and counting....only 2 more years until the other big milestone "30".
Feels like i was in high school only the other day. Oh, the homework, girls wearing way too much makeup and dancing around the halls in tight, eye catching outfits. Oh! boy... i miss the good care-free days. :smokin:

Good one Chicken, I decided to do the survey first and find out the news afterwards. I was so amused by escaping 31+ by about 2 weeks I thought I'd post to say so, and then I read yours :)
I thought I would be in the middle of the pack but the smile was wiped off my face, I'm at the low end of the ramp!
Jeez, I was ahead of the crowd getting into pc's many years ago, what the hell have I been wasting my time on! (Network gaming in since doom II Probably:))

ProSam 11-01-2001, 03:24 AM will be 24 three days after Thanksgiving.
I was actually born premature because my mom ate too much on Thanksgiving Day 1977.
She loves that turkey.
