Hi All,

I was wondering if all the people out there with a dedicated server could make a note in this thread of the amount of KB/s they are using and also if they would like to tell the amount of sites they are using on it...

The reason I am asking is we are currently working on a shared pipe connection to make available to our customers and I am trying to work out a user to pipe ratio. This product would allow users to have unlimited transfer...

Thanks in Advance

Nope, Its just a 2MB internet connection plugged into a isolated switch allowing the users to share and use as much of the connection as they like

Then, you can't even handle a customer needing 700GB of data transfer! Unlimited is without limit, if I want 1000GB, you will provide 1000GB ... Besides, capped connection is not really good (I hate it).

How can I pull 10 Mbps form a 2 Mpbs pipe? :)

Okay ,

Please note: This is in Australia... We have only started a few months ago started talking in GB lots for data and even now it is still talk like non chargable outgoing data and 1GB free incoming data with a 14c a mb excess fee.

In America bandwidth is cheap.. here is is not :-D

Providing a service to people who may have a RaQ with a few sites and giving them " Unlimited Data at a capped rate " makes people jump up and down...

I will add that this is an option for people if they dont like the Unlimited Outbound + 1Gb inbound on our OC3 connection that can burst very nicely
