kb@iy-2 10-09-2001, 03:18 PM Three gig transfer per month is not enough for a good reseller, but I guess that's up to the person who gets the account and decides whether to go into big business or stay small. Also, instead of offering twelve seperate plans to resell you should just allow the resellers to make their own plans. Twelve is a bit too much.

Dexter 10-09-2001, 03:26 PM actually i think the 3 gigs is what you get for your website. not what you are reselling... but i might be wrong

so what happens if you don't sell 3 packages per month? Seems a bit hard to meet since it could take a few months before business starts rolling.

Hi Kyle,
Actually, Dexter is right, the 3Gb is for your web site, not your resold accounts :)
There are 12 plans so the reseller can have alot of choice in the plans he/she can sells. There is a plan where the resellers can make their own plans ( http://www.american-hosting.net/unlimited_domains.html ), but this one isn't free though :)
Thanks,

Hi Dexter,
Actually, you would not get suspended if you don't sell 3 packages a certain month, also, if you sell let's say 5 packages in October, then you have to sell only one for November since you would have a total of 6 packages.
Thanks,
kb@iy-2 10-09-2001, 04:18 PM Actually, I meant once a reseller really gets going I doubt the three gigs transfer per month will be enough for the reseller's site.
Ericd 10-09-2001, 04:40 PM If the reseller ever needs more, it can be upgraded at $4 per GB over, or he cans choose to go with the As You Go account, where he would has greater discounts on the resold accounts :)
Thanks,
rockergrrl 10-09-2001, 04:44 PM Now would the 3 packages be total? or would they be 3 new ones each month?
Say the first month, I have 3 packages setup, would the next one have to have 3 new packages added each month?
Or would the 3 packages from the first month be considered as the same 3 the second month?
Did that make sense? :)
Voodoo Web 10-09-2001, 05:16 PM @rockergrrl: That does not make sense....
They can't live with 3x $3 per month and give you the account above.
Ericd 10-09-2001, 05:19 PM Hi,
It's an average of 3 new packages per month. But of course, it's not in the rock, as i said, you could have less one month and more another month. Especially the first month, i understand the business might not start so quick, so there's no quota for this month.
As an example, the ideal open accounts by month (no matter how much per month, as long as it's open):
1st month NA
2nd month 3
3rd month 6
4th month 9
5th month 12
... ...
Thanks,
