I am looking for an inxexpensive server with at least a 700MHZ processor and 128MB RAM. Most of the servers listed at 99servers.com that fit this category offer under 30GB bandwidth and charge > $2/GB extra. The total bill for 100GB bandwidth per month ends up being over $300 in some cases. I think I would be better off sticking to well known companies that offer 100GB bandwidth or more in their basic contract.
What are some hosts that charge $250 or less for a high-quality server with 100GB bandwidth or more?

How about getting two raq4 (at rackshack) and do load balancing on the two? $200/mo and you would get 600GB! woa! :D
chees,
I think rackshack offers a great deal, but I cannot host with them since my server has adult content.

Sounsd like www.efreeservers.com might be for you. I've heard good things about them. They are slightly more expensive than Rackshack, but they also offer more powerful servers.
My main problem with Efreeservers is their plans cost at least $300/month. There may also be an issue with early termination of contract. Efreeservers does offer inexpensive bandwidth and might be a good option once I am bigger. I am hoping to find a company for under $250/month that does not lock you into more than a 6 month contract.

The words "Inexpensive" and "High-Bandwidth" don't work.

NVB is looking for low cost bandwidth.
Not power machine, but, since you mention Site5,
I check them out :D
Dual P3 1Ghz
1 GB Ram
2x 36.4 GB SCSI (RAID 1)
200 GB BW
512 IP

I can get that for 1/2 of that price or less with 2 Gb Ram!
Oh, I am sure they have best connection, support and
uptime out there :D
Bandwidth
25 GB Block $3.50/GB $87.50/block
50 GB Block $3/GB $150/block
100 GB Block $2.50/GB $250/block
It's OK, but, not the best price.
