I'm getting a Sony Vaio PCV-RZ40C Series... Does this sound good to everyone? Anything you would change/add
I plan to download lots of movies, (burn dvds), watch dvds, and mp3's. Also some gaming.

-Windows XP Home Edition
-Intel Pentium 4 3 ghz
-1 Gb Memory
-120 gb hard drive
-nVIDIA GeForce FX 5600 graphics card
-DVD+-RW Drive
-DVD Rom (In 2nd bay)
-Sound Blaster Audigy Sound Card
- Inspire 5.1 5200 Speaker system

I'm getting the HS Series LCD Flat panel Sony monitor (17")

This will do you quite well, My friend has purchased the same thing, and he loves it. There are many features that come standard on it that many computer makers would charge you an arm and a leg for.

I think the graphics card isn't all that great, maybe change that? But it's up to you.

I'd replace the DVD-rom in the second bay with a CD-writer. You can play DVD's on de DVD-writer and having a CD-writer makes copying things from A to B a little easier in some cases.

Replace the dvd rom with a dvd/cdrw combo.
