Cirtex 01-27-2004, 08:58 PM Reliable and Fair Pricing
Pair.com
HostGator.com
UnitedHosting.co.uk
Sonataweb.net
Introhosting.com
and many more, try providing us with more specific features/requirements you have, amount of storage/bandwidth you need etc.. so we can help you out better in finding the right host for you.
Also look at the offers forum and some hosting directories like findmyhosting.com or findsp.com
Good luck!.
the most im willing to pay per month is probably 15 bucks. This site will be used for making websites, graphics, flash movies for clients etc...Most sites offer three hosting plans. I am looking for the middle one that gives me the best stuff for the price
lizzie-me 01-27-2004, 10:00 PM jako, what are the specs that you're looking for? space and bandwidth, etc?
iHPNOW 01-27-2004, 10:02 PM They are all templates from templatemonster. I wouldn't go with them, check out hostrocket.com

I wouldn't say all of them, but most of them use templates from TM ;)
And yes, I'd recommend hostrocket as well.
iHPNOW 01-27-2004, 10:24 PM No, every site listed in Jako's post is a TM template. Premitting yourself, which is not.
UH-Matt 01-28-2004, 08:20 AM Since when did using a template for a site make a company a bad host? And since when did using a well known designer for a site make the host excellent? I dont understand your logic.
iHPNOW 01-28-2004, 08:30 AM What I saying is template hosts usually don't want to put time into their site and be new. They have a less budget, and probably offer less support, since they don't want tp put a lot of work on the company. I exculsive design hosts could also be bad, but its lets you know they have a few bucks and their willing to spend it for business.
Douglas 01-28-2004, 11:04 AM And then you have people like me that choose to spend resources and money where it counts... providing customers what they need and not really focussing on their site. It all boils down to what the individual hosting company focusses on.
I would rather spend my time making sure my customers are taken care of first before I focus on my site.
Just my opinion, though. :)
hostrocket.com does seem good buck 20 bucks a year for a domain. Hostingu.com give's free domain w/ your hosting package
any others...
aingaran 01-28-2004, 05:31 PM First of all, do a search on this board for some of the hosts you have listed.
I know I saw a thread or two (negative) about a couple of those hosts.
iHPNOW 01-28-2004, 09:28 PM Well, your website also matters, but its just a status symbol. I use all my time backing up my hosting service and answering support questions. Its just what you choose to spend, I choose to spend more and have it all.
tonkagunner 01-29-2004, 04:08 PM I'm also looking for managed host for one of my clients. It needs to have ability to have ssl certificate installed. So far, hostcentric said they could do that. Unfortunately, they don't have free reseller program so that I can make a little off of it.
