Can someone point me in the right direction in regards to online resources (hardware, costs, providers, copyright info, profits?) that will help us in the setup of a ONLINE custom ringtone provider?

They provide ringtone reseller packages, It proves very costly to get the physical equipment in. You must also pay 10% to the artist royalty collection people (forgot the official name) :-).
