I have a problem with frontpage.

System Info: RedHat Linux 6.2 running WebPanel (CPanel) with FrontPage 2002 extensions.

The problem: There is no HTML formatting in forms like GuestBook, Forum, FeedBack. No HTML in both result page and email that is sent.

As an example, let's say i write the following:

Hello
A new paragraph
Another one

It will appears as:

Hello A new paragraph Another one

For a real-time example, you can go to http://66.78.7.111

Anyone has an idea what's the problem?

Thanks!

Am I to understand; you don't want it to look like . . . .

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
CONTENTS
A test Mr. Test 08 Oct 2001
joe joe 08 Oct 2001
k k 08 Oct 2001
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

???

Because, according to you, it looks like . . . .

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
CONTENTS A test Mr. Test 08 Oct 2001 joe joe 08 Oct 2001 k k 08 Oct 2001
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

???

I see the 'first' one.

Well, if you click on the "A test" link, you will see

a line a line another line

when it should be

a line
a line
another line

There's some problems with how FP 2002 parses the HTML pages when you publish them -- or so I hear. Further, if you were to publish using FP 2002 to a server with only FP 98 extensions, it'd work, but nothing after FP 98 would actually be processed properly because it doesn't support it. This can be the same type of reason in a manner of speaking. What FP client are you using anyway? Be sure to check the bugs section for FP and see what you can find, of course.
