Hi all! we have a customer who has erased the eeprom on a Raq 3. The server will not boot any more. The LCD does not read any thing and I can not get a terminal upto it. Does anyone know how to reload the eeprom firmware? Any help would be greatly welcomed. Thanks in advance:)

Hi you need to copy a good one in to a new EEPROM

Is that the small chip that is removable on the mother board? If so, what is the best way to program it? In another unit?

I dont now which one it is i would have take my RaQ3 apart

and no you would need a new chip an would have to read a good one into a programmer and program it in to the new one

i will have a look in my RaQ tomorrow and see if i can get the eeprom.

see if i have the kit at work
