I just got myself and Amd Athlon 1200 Mhz to fool around,
I feel it is fast,
Anything would be fast compared to my earlier celeron 366 overclocked to 550.

It also shows Me Cpu temperature, Though it has a big fat heatsink + fan, It runs at a temperature of 58 degrees C .
Now i think that is HOT. Or is it appropriate, the system does not hand or anything is very stable as such , but i was just wondering if it would require some better cooling, Its in a well ventilated ATX case,

i believe Athlons can run 10 - 20C higher than their Pentium counterparts ?

I also heard that atholon run on higher temperature comparatively any other processor.And It will reduce the performance of athlon.
