Well, recent forum discussion showed that you should stay away from ipowerweb.

SM and FS are good no worries.

calpop is horrible, I had a couple server with them for a while outages upwards of 20x per day anywhere from 3-15 mins per. They only have one 100mbit line of williams co.

Forget Calpop and ipowerweb.com Period.

Fastservers.net is in the HE.net datacenter. Very good co. very good support, network has let them down on times...they've got new equipment now and its now probably resolved. Support is great.

Servermatrix.com is cheaper than fastservers.net and are in Dallas with their own DC. Good co., good BW and good support. Go with servermatrix.com you save some money, otherwise its a tie.

I'm not sure - it totally depends on the type of hosting you're looking for

it also depends on what level of server management you require

Prices are decent. Found the Colo rackspace on dynamichosting to be overpriced significantly. The CappedBandwidth Colo prices are decent.

ServerBeach hosted sites often show up as "Williams Communications" on Netcraft, so I'm thinking SB might be using/related to those guys. Dunno.

Actually, you gotta stop spammin' so many topics, and not be so mean to the memebrs, or the mods might get YOU out. The man made a good point, you shouldn't be linking to porno sites. For all we know, you could be just trying to get traffic to the sites.

Bandwidth providers are on several quality & price levels. On the quality scale - Wiltel (WCG, WilliamTel), Aleron, Cogent, Broadwing, Allegiance are lowcost low quality Bandwidth providers. If you just needed low rates, then yes they are fine...if you need low rates on better quality BW then you gotta search around hard.

Posting links to adult sites and various webhosts & transit providers isn't the best way to choose hosting service or to get help on the decision. You'd find much more helpful information just by doing searches (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/search.php?s=) on the hosts you're interested in.
