If you will provide the shovel, I'll clear off the assortment of software packages, manuals, boxes, bills, CDs, invoices, copies, bills, etc., so that *maybe* you'll be able to see the computers and the desk. I've not seen the desk myself in a very, very long time. You'd think we were moving with all the boxes...

And I thought I was alone on this one. At least that's what my wife says... "Nobody else could have such a messy desk"

I should print this and show here there are others in this world like me...:D

hehe... I have wome weird tiki things, a bunch of programming books, bill, cds, my dell thing, a ton of boxes for hardware/software... and who knows what else lurking on the desktop. :) I'd take a pic, but the digital camera is roaming china at the moment.

Pretty messy! Id give that high marks since 1) you use what looks to be speakers with a thing of plywood as a place to put atleast 2 printers and a fax! NICE! :D

2) You look live you could have lived in that space for days with the empty bowl, and many empty drink containers!

I've gotta get a picture of my setup on here now... It'd be a tough one to beat. There's three desks put together, covered in all sorts of various hardware, components, books, and coffee rings. As for all the paperwork, well that's now under the desk so I can feel as if I have some form of organization ( so long as you don't look under.. I'll get to that, really. ).

Travis, compared to my desk yours looks REALLY clean. I'm always telling people that it's a good thing people can't see through my monitor. I'd even be too embarrassed to post a picture of it ;) Guess that means it's time to clean it.

Most of my stuff instead of being sorted when I "clean" off my desk is put in a rubber maid tote and put in the corner... I have 2 already in the corner -- and we've only lived here since June..

I don't know about hot dog containers, ashtrays, and empty Jack in the Box cups but I do _always_ have either a glass of Mountain Dew or a Cup of Coffee sitting proudly on the desk.... as far as messy however....I'm fairly sure I'm the winner in that category.

Anyone can have a pile of papers stacked on the desk or plants made of mold...but when you add a Military MaCAW to the mix well.... let's just say it doesn't get messier than that :P

Jeese... your desks are all neat and tidy. I have a bunch of odd stuff all over. My desk always has a mountain dew or mug hot chocolate on it. Then of course whatever little happy meal toy my sister leaves in there along with her little craft things she makes and gives away left & right.

I'll take a picture of mine tomorrow. I have locked up and come to bed - the bats in the camera are flat and Im not tuning my alarm off for 2x AA's ;) - Guess you'll all have to wait until tomorrow to see my tip :D

So far I win. You people with those clean desks make me sick. If you can believe it, I recently cleaned that desk, and it was worse. Now the piles of papers are ORGANIZED.

I need a 360 degree cam too, as I'm not showing you the floor (the expansion of the desk), which has now creeped into the living room (I'm certain it does this while we're sleeping).

Although, my mom cleaned it a couple days ago, by filling two large boxes.... with whatever wasn't attached.... now you can actually find my DSL modem and computer...

Maaan, you are ALL a bunch of losers when it comes to MY desks. I have yet to see a messy desk in this thread! I have a cam, but the pics it takes suck...so I'm gonna go get some film for my polaroid in the morn and take a pic of my two most used computers. Oh, I dont even know how to describe this mess, I have GOT to clean up! Man I got wendys biggie cups all over, some almost empty tuaca and goldshloger bottles, some carpet fresh, a spray bottle of malathion and a can of raid (we have those HUGE tree raoches here and I have no idea HOW they get in here!!), lottery tickets all over the place, sprite bottles, various oreilly and dummies books scattered about, 360 watts speakers, some empty cereal bowls (oh man, one has mold in it!), dual monitors on one of the pc's, a measuring tape (I've been looking for that too!), and then all the usual office stuff along with it all such as cordless phones all over the place, a fax, printer, stable, hole punchers, a slingshot (I use it to target practice at the Texas sized mosquitoes we have here), some bandaids (for when the mosquitoes get me first).

You know, this is too bad to take a pic of...LOL...I'll clean a bit before I do...heh

Notice the electrical plugs attached to the alternating current outlet to the left of the desk. Even with today's technology, a computer user must still use many electrical cords to power his computer.

i would love to post a picture of my workspace. i dont have a camera or a scanner though.

Believe me it is an ugly mess. I have to sift through all the paper to find my keyboard, and the chair wont roll anywhere because there are too many wires laying around, as well as jewel cases. There is gum stuck on the seat of my chair papers everywhere dud cdrs everywhere, and there is a paperclip under one of the shift keys so capitalizing is a pain. capitalizing letters i mean.

there are cupboards attached to the desk and if i open them a bunch of 5'1/4 disks will fall out along with a few outdated books, a cd rack a couple of rocks and um a magazine :blush:

as for me, i'm not a mess. I'm only a mess on saturday mornings :)

Ok, so my desk really isn't that messy (sorry, dont have a pic yet), but my collection of empy mt. dew cans that i've drunken in 1 month is funny. I filled the top of my closet thingy and am now duct taping them to the wall. haha! its great. I'll see if I can find a camera.

my computer is to the left, not that messy on the top.. but under the desk... that's where all the files, papers and other mess piles up, and the amount of cords under there.. it's scary. :o

Such a cute bird, but is nervous of things - but we are doing that "raise them in chaos and they can handle anything" technique.

We also have a green Pattigonian parrokeet too - called Chico, who likes to roll onto his back and play dead to get attention - very cheeky :)

Later we learned he just loved playing in the upside down position. Pic included of his fav position these days....

Echo was hatched and raised in chaos so no probs there but when it comes to good and evil.... YEP!

Does this have anything to do with hosting? I guess it would if we could teach these feathered friends to say "Reboot and call back later" :D
