I was looking for the same thing.

I hope anybody can help over this matter.

I've not been able to find a full proof solution for this.

Thanx

I don't think that there is a way to hide that you are "reselling" it.
But what does this mean? They will always see that their server is located at ..., but if colocated or resold, where is the point?

And, why hide? Are your prices two times their price? Is your support so bad? Aren't you offering unique features? LOL.

Interesting point, but you are wrong! OK they could tracert your URL and see your network, but not for what company you are reselling! example: www.tuhosting.com.ar tell me, on what server/what company are they based? (I just found this company, I have no relationship with them)

So here my answer: you can resell just ask your company you are reselling for, if they can offer you a anonymous tracerout. Just keep the root password and inform your client not to change it. You could make them sign a contract stating that they will not change the root password.

The last 2 ips in the tracert belong to "Everyone's Internet" www.ev1.net

You can almost always(?) find out where a host is, sometimes its a bit more complicated.

I have done a tracert from germany to the site, there is no hint, that they have a RaQ at RackShack, or have I missed something?

well.... all of your comments are correct...

unless you deal directly with the NOC...

http://www.datacolo.com

Carlos (CRego3D) owns the company, and he offers dedicated servers right from there... so the ARIN results point to the data center anyways...

very nice setup:-)

You just pay him, and bill the client...

thanks
Sean:D

you are absolutely right.... it isnt public site yet..

email carlos@datacolo.com or hosting@datacolo.com for info, and he will gladly send you some answers..

i would post the server info here, but i will not do it since he may wish for me not to...

i will put prices though...

smaller server is about 300/month USD, and the large one is 500/month USD.

I want to ask the same thing.
How can I remove the last node information. For eg. if you use visual route. You can see the NOC and the domain info.
Is it possible to keep the server anonymous so that no one comes to know who is the ISP?

Yeah, call <insert local telco carrier> and have them run a T1 or better to your place.

I could link the IP to both datacolo.com and wizardshosting.com with no imagination needed at all. It's all there.

So...?

And you need to do all that to know this? I don't even need to do anything since Carlos himself has admitted it :D

lol .. yes, that's why we SWIP ( http://www.arin.net/templates/swipinstruction.txt ) the ips' to the customer's name .. hehe :D

the point was, you can't see the NOC first IP :)

By SWIP the ips' to your company name .. we become invisible to your customer .. (read about SWIP in the link at the post above) :)

Now, if what you mean is, how do you make your company name show in front of the IP (in a traceroute or pingplotter) .. that's achieved by setting reverse DNS
