template number: 2487 and 3842

How many times can this template be sold at the UNIQUE PRICE?

They currently have two templates that look EXACTLY the same, both with two UNIQUE PRICES.

Why pay the unique price for one template when they have another template that looks EXACTLY THE SAME and will probably create more later on?

Just would like to post that I think this is a bad move for templait monster.

That little phpnuke addon to one template really upsets me as I was considering purchasing one of those templates at the unique price to stop others from using it. But I found out that there is another template that looks just like it. Unique Price? Do they want me to buy both now? I guess they are just lying when they state "Unique Price."

ok maybe this will clear it up a little.. or not.

Hello JC,

As far as I see, template #3842 was based on template #2487 that is still on sale and available on our site and. I don't understand your claims.

1- how much did you pay for the template to consider it is unique and for sale only once ?

2- there should be 11 more users who has the same template as yours I think

Ow, that's aweful to have two indentical templates. Template #3842 not only based on template #2487, but it is the exact same copy of template #2487 (well, minus the arrow in the middle). Everythig else is the same, the colour, the servers, even the "company name" (HostingCompany).

They don't understand your claim about what? Are they that dumb to see the obvious?

Guess they didn't like my post. They blocked my ip from accessing their site. I got another one I can use so no big deal.

Well, that's not the first complaint I've seen from template users.
Of course they're in the money-making business, not template-making. Do you get a statement from them giving you exclusive rights? If you don't, I guess you're stuck. They can do whatever they want if they don't clearly state in wrighting you will have exclusive rights.
As a matter of fact, you don't have any rights at all to these claims. Have you checked their terms? Here's what you get if you click on the (?) beside "UNIQUE PRICE":
If you choose 'Unique price', it guarantees that you are the last person to buy this template. After an exclusive purchase occurs the template is permanently removed from the sales directory and is never available to other customers again. Only you and people who bought the template before you will own it. You still can not redistribute or resell templates after UNIQUE purchase. You must use them according to terms of use. This price will be added to your template tuning price quote.

This means that if you fork out 3500$ you have the pleasure to be the last one to use that template! (That's 25x the regular price, mind you...) What a scam!
This is a clear case of deceitful advertising (or whatever lawyers call it) and they can be punished by a trade commission or what may be the institution in charge of such matters. You can't put a "UNIQUE" tag on a product that has been copied 10 times over! Furthermore, they can't use the wording "exclusive purchase" on something that's already been purchased many times before. They're clearly crossing the line here, someone should blow the whistle on these guys.

The second-one "3842" is a Nuke template (i don't think many host will use that) but it's still ridiculous

i don't like the way templatemonster does this kind of things...

I have seen this matrix hosting template on their site.. they both are the same exact thing.. the only difference is that one of them is for PHP NUke
