We have two low-cost, high-quality server configurations currently available:

Configuration 1:
CPU: AMD Athlon 1.0 GHz
Motherboard: ASUS A7S-VM
RAM: 256 (512 max)
Hard Drive: 20GB Western Digital 7200RPM ATA/100
Bandwidth: 25GB/Month
Control Panel: Webmin, upon request
OS: Any OS you choose, we prefer to install FreeBSD or Slackware
IPs: 16

Setup: $199.00 (6 month contract) or $349 (3 month contract)
Monthly: $130.00

Configuration 2:
CPU: Intel P3 800 MHz
Motherboard: Intel D815EFVL
RAM: 256 (512 max)
Hard Drive: 20GB Western Digital 7200RPM ATA/100
Bandwidth: 25GB/Month
Control Panel: Webmin, upon request
OS: Any OS you choose, we prefer to install FreeBSD or Slackware
IPs: 16

Setup: $249.00 (6 month contract) or $399.00 (3 month contract)
Monthly: $140.00

Extra bandwidth: $2/GB, cheaper in bulk. If you would like prices on extras like SCSI, more RAM, a motherboard that can handle more RAM/CPUs, RAID, etc, post here or email me.

Standard installation software varies with customer needs. Just email us a list of your required software packages and we will install it for you prior to your receiving the server. Anything installed after that is the customer's responsibility. We will help with basic issues if the customer needs it.

Standard control panel is Webmin. You can purchase a Plesk or Ensim License, or you can pay us a monthly fee for it to be included in the offer. Prices vary -- email me for rates.

All legal content is allowed with minor exceptions outlined in the contract.

The network center is located in Gainesville, Florida. It is fed by 3 DS3 lines connected to UUNet, Sprint, and Genuity and is staffed 24 hours a day (by humans, not answering machines). We are located 15 minutes from the network center.

We have exceptional technical support. We will help you, at no cost, with basic administration of your server (great for those of you just starting). We use email and forums as our main support medium, and have toll-free emergency numbers for customers to use.

These servers are great for a web hosting company who is just starting (bandwidth prices are great too), game servers, and high-traffic/resource websites such as forums.

We only have a few of these available right now, so act quickly if you want one. Considering the surge in dedicated server requests here and the big increase in sites demanding more power and bandwidth, I'm sure they'll go rather quickly.

If you have any questions or would like more information, post here or email me at allera@focalhosting.com.

Thank you!

For a 6 month contract:

Setup: $499.00
Monthly: $249.00

The Motherboard is ASUS and Hard Drives are IBM UltraStar (10k RPM). There is no RAID support on this setup. The motherboard maxes out at the 512MB. A motherboard to support more RAM would be slightly more expensive, but might not alter the quote any. Depends on availability. Extra bandwidth is $2/GB, cheaper in bulk.

If you have specific setup/monthly requirements, we can work with you to try to match your budget. Feel free to email me with any questions.

Thanks!

Again with a 6 month contract:

Setup: $599.00
Monthly: $249.00

This setup is very expandable to allow for RAID and Dual Processors, plus 4GB memory. It does not support SCSI. It is using a Gigabyte motherboard and Westen Digital 7200 RPM ATA/100 drives. If you want dual nics, add $40 to the setup.

Again, if you have specific setup/monthly budget restraints, feel free to email me and we'll work something out.

We've got two of the Pentium III configurations left. If you have special setup/monthly requirements, let me know and we might be able to work something out.

Thanks!
