The domain imperum.com at least, seems to be on a colossus server. Might help you find out info about their (colossus') uptime. Other than this, I've never heard of them...

Colossus is a fairly big company, even though I bet no one in here has heard of them. Back in the day they used to provide servers to truehosting.com, till they kicked truehosting off.

Their prices are not that great for what you get. I would recommend
1. dedicatedhosting.com
2. catalog.com
3. webexpose.net/

you get much more powerful machines and more bandwidth for less

Tcoy, is it really a big company? their pages don't give the right impression. Just take a look at their resellers page http://colossus.net/resell.photos.html

Well,
Your average dinky host does not own an entire ip block like this on their own:

Netname: COLOSSUS-NET-BLK-2
Netblock: 216.121.0.0 - 216.121.255.255
Maintainer: COLO

I know they have been around for a long time, as far back as I can remember, but I no longer know of any hosting companies that use them. Their pages seem very poorly designed, pricing is not very good and I know web66.com are no longer with them.
