You can not get storage, bandwidth, uptime, experience and price all together. It just does not work this way. regards, Biowaste XP 01-20-2004, 06:23 PM I am with www.HostingScene.com under one of their reseller plan (the novice one) and they offer 1gb of webspace and 30gb of bandwidth for that price. they've helped me out on numerous occasions with things [even non-hosting related - html coding] and I have yet to see any downtime besides the couple scheduled ones for the ram upgrade and kernel upgrade. If you want, I can PM you my aim s/n but I am rarely online since I have dialup :/ okihost 01-20-2004, 06:33 PM There are several good hosts around which can meet your needs, I would suggest finding a few which you are interested in and then doing a bit of research on them both on the web and here at WHT to see what type of past or even present feedback you can get. Just beware of 'too good to be true' offers as they are just that usually. iTec Hosts 01-21-2004, 06:14 AM You could check out 8-95.com or dixiesys.com. They each have decent reseller packages as well as 24 hour support via IRC, forums, helpdesk and email. b.m.2 01-21-2004, 07:52 AM If you're looking for a good reliable value you should check out unitedhosting.co.uk for a reseller plan. There are other good ones out there but United does a really good job for a nice low price. ;) pharmatic 01-24-2004, 12:18 AM email sales@bargainempire.com for good reseller accounts Jay H 01-24-2004, 08:02 AM Take a look at dathorn.com. Hmm their support does going like a turtle, sometimes you won't even get any kind of reply. Had some bad experience in the past, their server went down for 2/3 times but not the whole server only some of the most important services (apache, bind), i actually fixed up the bind problem (by myself) by restarting the sevices (that would be my first step on the future). But everything went well for the last few weeks, although i requested for another reseller acc under my accounts and tooks me 4 days just to get it activated. One time their e-mail bounce because of overquota (must have been very busy). I finally get my self the account by contact thir support via AIM by coincidence, and i demanded it to be activate immediately. If you want some real low prices reseller account, they should be more than cheap for you to start. But there's a catch, with some real slow support probably it's better for you to call them directly or via chat than contact them via email IF somethings should ever happens. Then prepare a comparision statement. list out the +ves and -ves of each provider. (the points can be allotted based on the customers expriences, costing, support level and etc) allot the points. which provider is getting more points choose them Regards :) |
