Last night I tried to install the apache update from the cobalt update pkg page. It said that the installation was unsuccessfull and now http doesn't work any more (I can access the server via ftp, telnet and E.mail) what can I do, do I have to reinstall apache ? How can I get the appache to work again, I don't know much about telnet and I haven't got access to the web control pannel !
Please could someone give me the telnet command to restart http and any advise as to how to make it work again !!!

I would try startting httpd from the command line then try re-installing that package again.

/etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd start

It might be the conflict with the Chili!Soft software, if you have that installed. If this is the case you need to contact ChiliSoft and ask for the fix. Good luck tho, i contacted them over a week ago and am still waiting for the fix.

How do you install a pkg package using telnet? I haven't got access anymore to the cobalt control pannel !

Thankyou !
But when I try and install the apach update I get :
4015 Error in patching admin webserver initscript: update failed
4015 Error in installation script upgrade_me

What should I do, I'm pritty sure that it's apach which is causing these problems (http not working)
