I called ***** to ask about their unlimited bandwidth. Someone pickes up and I asked what is the limit for the bandwidth and he said that it is not unlimited because after 20Gb they will charge you and I asked why does it say unlimited then he said he don’t know that he is not making any commission off the sale so he was not going to lie to me. He said that is one of *****'s “paradoxes” So told me if I wanted him to connect me with someone that can explain it to me and when he came back he said that no one was available but that someone told him that it was unlimited but then laughing he said “its not unlimited I’ve seen people being charged for 'surpassing the unlimited bandwidth" I then asked if they will give me a credit for charging me when they are not suppose to and he said "yeah right that will never happen" I finally asked if it is true all the rumors about ***** and he said "i am not even going to get into that conversation with you"

I only know of several companies that will do both Linux and NT hosting ....
www.weinbar.com
www.pwebtech.com
www.dtwebworks.com
www.vortechhosting.com

and I believe some others, but I just can't remember them right now (my apology guys). Anyway, you won't get the "unlimited" non-sense with these companies and you may end up paying more, but I do believe these companies are better than ***** :)

Good luck!

cheers,

Oh man, if that story is even half true it's the funniest thing I've heard today :) I bet Chris will be on the warpath if this thread ever gets back to him, looking for the tech support guy who picked up that phone.

At least it would show there *are* good people working in that company, even if they do have to work to 'policy' most of the time.
