Hi EveryOne,

I hope I don't break any rules of WHT forums. If I do.....please feel free to delete this post.

Given the fact that every thing (such as my host, my server admin co.) have been found via WHT forums, I want to share my experience with my server admin company so far.

As most of WHTers know that I posted too many posts while looking for a dedicated server management company:) , I thought I should also share who I found and how I am feeling about them so far.

Well, after going thru some 10 companies and about 20 other offers of help from individuals, I finally decided to bite the bullet with a company which I found at WHT.

I contacted them via WHT PM, and got quick response. Then exchanged few PMs back and forth and then decided to chat with them to get answers to all my (u know 100 some boring qustions:) ).

I was impressed with their patience in dealing with me, answering all my questions, and finally when I could not understand the Hi-tech mumbo-jumbo in there answers anymore.....I thought well these guys appear to know what they are doing because generally I am pretty good in confusing others.

Given the fact that I am almost blank in hosting matters (but from my daily presence at WHT I know most of the abbreviations well enough to give the impression of an expert such as SMP, APF, GRSEC, and most others):D, I just forward them all the 5 or so emails that I got from SM including my favorite 'welcome to ServerMatrix email'. :stickout:

I told them that I didn't want to mess up the server (or SM's orbit support site) so I have not checked anything at all (including if I got the correct server as I requested) and asked them to check it all for me. They said no problem :( .

Any time they tried to ask me a question which I didn't understand well ( such as how many IPs I want to use, which name server etc etc, ), I just told them that I want to go by their advice and they should tell me what is good.

Bottomline: I told them server is their baby and they should take care of it....I just want the minimum i.e. Keep it up and running all the time.....and if something goes wrong...just fix it:D

Before I bore the hell out of you all, I am glad to say that they have: set it up, secured, tweaked, tuned, helping my developer in every possible way they can even doing installations, and just as I requested they are taking care of my server like a baby.

This is all I wanted: someone who can do it all without making me bankrupt ;)

So thumbs Up to InstaCarma.com and thier staff:cool:

PS. I hope you keep taking care of this server in future just like you doing it now.

Thank you WHT as well for two great discoveries: My Host, and My Server Admin.

Regards,

Rick Kumar

InstaCarma has many plans listed on their site, with different service levels and pricing options. Which plan are you using?

:) In fact, I don't know how it happened:confused:

But I had to delete some before I could post the message. I got the message that I have used too many images, and I need to delete some in order to post.:stickout:
