This is just a question for web hosters wondering if anybody else has customers that complain about their site being down, they can see anything, and swear a blue streak that everything is down...and yet when you check their domain and the server (which is being monitored anyways) using connections such as T-1, Dialup, AOL, and even have Cnet.com ping the domain, there appears to be no evidence of trouble?

Yes.... I think everyone with any substantial amount of customers has this at one time or another. Often it's their ISP etc...and I think that's why most hosts include a "Server Down?" issue within their FAQs so they have a point of reference to send the customer explaining ways the customer can dig deeper to find out where the problem really is....
