Hello all:

I installed the neomail package from http://pkg.nl.cobalt.com/all/neomail-1.25-3.pkg . Of course, I wanted to customize it, so I D/L to my machine, edited some of the images, etc.

When I went to upload the modified files, ftp wouldn't let me overwrite them as admin, so being a little lazy, I did a chown -r admin on the /home/neomail directory.

Now neomail comes up just fine (and looks pretty with my changes) but it won't let me log in - tells me all of my user/pwd combos are incorrect. I did a chown -r root and it didn't help.

Any suggestions?

Un-install the package.

Then this time to overwrite images login to telnet and use the wget method.

Yep - that did it. DOH!!
