I suppose there isn't a sure fire way to translate the results from marketleap's search engine hits to visitors, but is it possible to make a rough estimation?

I'm looking at buying a few domains that have no content on them. One has marketleap total of about 100, one has 500, and another has 1000. In all cases these are quality links, not cheap random links. Just wondering what kind of numbers of visitors *roughly* I could expect just based on those marketleap numbers and assuming that I put some content on the site that is roughly similar to what the original links were linking to.

Thanks

use the internet archive's wayback machine archive.com i think? to see what the site used to be.

Then you can probably tell what kind of sites were linking to it

What I wanted to know was roughly how many unique visitors I can expect each day, depending on the marketleap score.

nobody can tell ;-)

ask them to put a parking page on it for a few days like sedo or something and see how much traffic it gets
