I host my page there and it's SLOW
Sometimes my FTP upload really fast but often it upload at 200 bytes seconds.
Anyone got this problem with aletia?
maybe it'S just my ISP

Can't be sure it would be Aletia... certainly in regards to uptime they've had 100% recently, and I've not noticed any slow speeds while uploading via FTP (and also viewing the page). If you are getting slow speeds while using your FTP Client then make sure :
- It isn't just your ISP (try another)
- You don't have any Firewalls installed (whether hardware or software). If you do you'll have to do some setup work to get them working ok in conjuction with FTP... this was a pain in the ass for me so I just ended up un-installing BlackICE :D
- Make sure it isn't just the FTP program... when I'm uploading, say 100 very small gif files, then I'll get reported speeds of 200bytes or thereabouts. However, if I start uploading a 5Mb file then the speed goes back to a good level.
(All those tests were carried out with Aletia as I was getting very slow speeds listed... in the end it proved to be the last thing (the small files))

Shurik'n, what does your traceroute look like when the speed is slow?

I get a ping average of 30..
I called my ISP and the guy told me that he never saw a cable modem fast as mine (what a moron if mine is fast then dial up is faster then cable!)
I don't know what's the problem but my message board crashed yesterday and I can't install it back because of my upload speed.
It's down to 20 bytes per seconds now it's insane
