We are developing a control panel for our linux webhosting server, that would be compatible, this would allow you to offer a webhosting control panel to your customers, but this is still up to 6 months away and would cost extra

Webmin is only for managing your server, however for webhosting you could use Cpanel and similar however we do not offer this but you can install it if neccessary


How much extra would adding a second drive & setting up mirroring for backup plus more ram run to?

To add a second 40GB drive would cost another £15 per month, this would be mirrored using software mirroring, Hardware mirroring would be available at an extra charge of £10 per month.

RAM : an upgrade from 128 to 256 would cost a one time price of £20

256 -> 512 would cost a one time price of £40

Alternatively we can custom build a server if our base options are not suitable

This would vary depending on the software. SSL : We can help with this but we would advise that this was done by yourself

As a person contemplating their first dedicated server how "managed" is your service?


We would recommend that you have some linux/windows experience however depending on how much access you wanted to give us to your server, we would be able to provide some limited support with configuration problems you might have.

We dont strictly offer a managed server option, however we understand how difficult it can get, so we would be happy to help if you get yourselves in a mess
