We about to launch webhosting services. Here is what we are looking for:

1. We need someone to design a complete website from scratch. We have very limited budget.

2. If we like your work. We like to form some kind of partnership with a web designer or design company. Basically we would be subcontracting the work to you.

Anyone interested, please email me directly.

WOW. talash.net is a big rip off of www.4guys.com.

If you say your a web designer, why not make a site for yourself instead of stealing it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yea, I would much rather NOT have replies in this forum restricted.

If someone says 'email me' then they will be checking their email, and there is no need to say anything about it.

Not saying anything here, because I don't know when these sites where made, I know that Talash had his site up at least by June (early June was when I first saw it). I noticed that 4guys said that redesigned their site, does anyone have a date on when they did it?

Shall we discuss this copying thing elsewhere? This will be unfair for Goldrush (Tread starter) who is looking for biz;;)

Hi,

For anyone who thinks that talash.net is a rip off from 4guys.com, please do not waste this thread and if you want open a new thread and I will reply your concerns in details. But before you go ahead, do have another look at both the sites and jot down what all are simmilar and what all are not simmilar. We will discuss them. I am here all the time !

BTW, 4guys.com new design has been around for longer than my new design. Just to clarify the doubts. And yes, we did took some ideas from their website.

But we have not stolen anything. All graphics have been made in original in our studio. Each and every bit of content is original. Each graphic we have used as images are stock images. The color coding is totally original to us.

As far our design talents etc are concerned, we have shown in past and will show it in future to our customers. Contact me in private at talash@talash.net and I would send you atleats 30 sites we have designed in last two months.

If you call this a rip off then there are hundreds of site which looks like rip off. A navigation bar on top and content beneath is a rip off from every second site. The drop down dhtml menus are rip offs in every tenth site.

Anyways more arguments in a seperate forum or seperate thread since this thread is not for this purpose.

Sorry, moderators, I had to reply, since someone took this thread totally off topic to attack on our credibility, which was no way related to what Goldrush wanted.

Regards
Abhishek

I dont really know what's the story behind talash and 4guy.com.

Anyway, I will email some of you. Then I will review my opinions.

Thanks for all those responded to my request.

Hey,

The sites are rather similar. It's not really a rip though, as the graphics are all different. In a way you're influenced by every site you see, so you're ripping from all of them when you create a new one.

Anyway, I do web design also, although it looks like I don't have a shot at gettin the job. :)
