I signed up for an account at Site5.com last night at around 10PM. I instantly received the auto-response to my submission, but have not heard anything else from them at all...it's been almost 24hrs! Earlier today I emailed sales@site5.com as well as sysadmin@site5.com, but have yet to hear a response.

I am very upset over this, it certainly is not a good first impression of the company.

Should I just wait it out? Or what? Anyone have the Site5 phone number?

Thanks!

24 hours isnt all that bad for a dedicated server. Maybe you are a bit anxious

I was thinking that I may be a little impatient... This is for a virtual hosting account, not a dedicated server

Site5 doesn't have (or post) a phone number. The best thing you could do to get a response is to go to their forums and ask the administrators what's going on. The forum is at http://www.site5support.com. You will have to register and sign in but the admins and moderators are almost always on.

Personally I would see what happens in another 24 hours. But that is my opinion since I'm signed up with them. They have awesome support but if you can't get a site going, that don't matter. Good luck and post back here what happens... I'm curious of the outcome.

Does anyone know where their affiliate sign-up page is? I e-mailed them and they have no responded.

I posted at Site5Support.com, and moments after I postd, my post was deleted! I don't understand what is happening? Why am I getting screwed? This is very frustrating...I just wanted an account there! I just hope they are not charging my CC...

Argh!

I'm sorry to hear that you're still having problems signing up. It is unusual for them to not have your account already setup and ready to go by now. I've signed up two different accounts and they were done in less then one day if not sooner. If you're looking for a different host, use the search engine of this forum and you will find some really good alternatives.

Apparently my post on the Site5Support forums was not deleted, but in fact moved to an area "where it will be looked at first by the system administrator on duty" by the moderator of the forums.

*sign*, The clock keeps tickin`, almost 2 days since I ordered.

Just to let you know, my account has finally been setup.

Did they explain what the long delay was all about? It's good to hear you are setup and I hope the rest of your time there is trouble free. I guess you will have a busy 30 days testing everything out to make sure you want to stick around. I wish you the best.

The setup is not automated?

Can somebody help me to answer this question regarding site5's feature? It seems that the sales person stopped replying to my questions...

I host with Site5 and I got a response almost instantanously, but now that I am looking to order a dedicated server... support claims that their sales staff is backed up... but is that because of orders or understaffed?
