What happens when you try to upload a file bigger than 500kb?

Are you using ftp to upload it? What exactly does it do when you realize there is a problem?

yes when i upload everything bigger than 400-500kb via FTP, browser, kazaa(sharing), emule. The conection to internet stops. The little computer stay in the task bar but they dont blick at all. My MSN disconects, I even cent get email. I have to disconect and conect again to internet.

Well dialup wasn't made to be uploading 400-500kb of data and it crapping out is simply a sign that you are overloading the connection and killing it.

I would try a couple things. Have your phone line tested by your telephone company. They can tell you if there is any noise on the line that may be causing issues. Also, make sure that your modem drivers are up-to-date. There is no reason that you should not be able to transfer that amount of data. Albeit it will take some time.
