Okay, I'm not a huge webhost with 1000's of customers but I do know people around my area, and they do webhosting through me since they know me as an honest straight-forward person.

Keeping that in mind, I am in need of a new billing system. One that is easy to setup, manage, and even upgrade if need be. Right now I am using ModernBill which has been confusing to both me and the customers.

So I was wondering if you host gurus would know of a billing system that follows the KISS rule. One that is functional and useful, but not overloaded with extra junk I don't really need.

Thanks in advance,
-Tony

For a somewhat comprehensive solution, you may want to look at clientexec. It is not as "bloated" as ModernBill but it is not as thorough as MB is in regards to the number of systems it can interface with. Invoicing is currently lacking but there are plans to beef that area up.

If you are using only cPanel servers, you might look at WHMAutoPilot. It is lacking in the invoice functionality which is supposed to be upgraded shortly.

There are several variables that you may want to list to get a more precise recommendation such as server types, payment vendor, third party integrations, etc.

Tony - I can only add perhaps PerlBill other than the information that Matt gave you.

I simply wanted to say that I really like the vector graphic on your website and the fact that the shirt colour changes :D Very cool.
