Are there any worthwhile hosts these days that offer sub domains as part of the package? An example of a sub domain is content.domainname.com. I'm not talking about mere redirects.
I've been with the same host for years now, but will be moving within the week. I remember when sub domains were a popular feature of hosting companies. From what I've seen so far, this no longer seems to be the case.

You'll find most packages nowadays include this as unlimited now, you are only restricted by your DS/BW limits...
Do a search in the offers forum and you'll find plenty..

Interesting question.
What's the difference between redirects and what you are describing?
Any Cpanel host will be able to provide addresses like sales.somehost.com that really point to somehost.com/sales/. How is this not what you want? What am I missing?

Most hosts offer subdomains, whether you wanted to use them as redirects or separate content/application pages.

What I mean by "mere redirect" is to have a sub domain redirect the users to another URL. What you described below that is what I'm looking for.
