Anyone here pay for Yahoo e-mail? If so is it any good?
I'm looking for a web based e-mail service where i can get a short e-mail address. Any suggestions?
It has to be webmail!
Why not look for a host that has email only plans?
Example...

You can register your own domain for less than 10 bucks a year and you can keep it for life. If you are going to do something, do it right! :D

Have a look at another.com; they used to be good but I only used them before they started charging. I never bothered, not when Yahoo and Hotmail were free :)

I use them currently as a back up mail source and also a "spam catcher" e-mail address. I bought the largest plan they had and have renewed it the past few years.
Overall, it's worth the money.

For flexibility and value I would still rather get my own solution which offers MORE for the same or less $
1) $9/yr register your own domain with godaddy.com or namecheap.com
2) $10/yr sign up for RippleHost.com (http://www.ripplehost.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1) web hosting offering 100MB/2GB
cPanel comes with NeoMail, Horde and Squirrelmail pre-installed but I would install Iholamail (http://ilohamail.org/main.php?page=ScreenShots).
I doubt Yahoo! would offer all that for under $20/yr.
