I was wondering, I have Windows XP and Linux Mandrake installed on my comp if I were to reinstall XP would that delete everything off my HD including Mandrake so I just had a fresh Windows XP and know mandrake or any files and settings I previously had?

What is your end goal? Are you looking to just wipe off Mandrake and have XP as your sole operating system, or do you want to reinstall XP and continue to dual boot?

You wouldn't have to format the whole drive to reinstall XP, it just depends on what you choose to do during the setup process.

I want to wipe off Mandrake, and reset all my settings because my internet is all screwed up.

reinstall xp

ok so a simple reinstall will work thanks man

Just make sure you format the whole drive that way it is like starting with a brand new empty drive.
