EagleImagery 01-11-2004, 03:19 PM First, go here and be amazed: superlooper.de/ designchapel.com/ Then go to: vectorize.de :: hit the big ENTER in the bottom, and then select portfolio>tutorials :: Sorry, can't post full links yet..... HTH :) anjam 01-11-2004, 07:56 PM Those sites are really incredible - its amazing what people can do! PurpleCow 01-12-2004, 05:32 AM u might also want to consider using CorelDraw to do vector based graphics, though there might be better ones ! Cheers EagleImagery 01-15-2004, 11:22 PM _ ...very unlikely ;) :D mikeym 01-16-2004, 12:23 AM Adobe Illustrator is great for vector graphics, I use a combination of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for my graphics. Ian Jay 01-16-2004, 06:38 AM I started Vectors about 2 months ago, here are my latest. http://ic.fhqnet.com/battles/girlvectorworker.psd.jpg http://ic.fhqnet.com/battles/777_Bondstyle.jpg I love the fact that you can illustrate anything without a photgraphic reference and also that the file sizes are so small. carlos_pires 01-16-2004, 07:25 PM Xshare: what you really need is to get started! I've been teaching Design and related subjects for quite some time, and what really bugs people starting in vectors is to get a hold on the bezier splines. You really need to get the hang of it. If you have any particular problem I have no problem in helping you out, but I don't know where you could find tutorials. Very nice, Ian Jay! Follow my link if you want to see my illustration portfolio (terribly outdated!), currently I use vectors in all my Photoshop work. I build almost everything in paths. I use Freehand mostly though for all-vector work. Cheers |
