I really want to get started with vector graphics, but I can't find any tutorials or things like that...

Then go to:

vectorize.de

u might also want to consider using CorelDraw to do vector based graphics, though there might be better ones !

Cheers

Adobe Illustrator is great for vector graphics, I use a combination of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for my graphics.

I love the fact that you can illustrate anything without a photgraphic reference and also that the file sizes are so small.

Xshare: what you really need is to get started! I've been teaching Design and related subjects for quite some time, and what really bugs people starting in vectors is to get a hold on the bezier splines. You really need to get the hang of it.
If you have any particular problem I have no problem in helping you out, but I don't know where you could find tutorials.

Very nice, Ian Jay!
Follow my link if you want to see my illustration portfolio (terribly outdated!), currently I use vectors in all my Photoshop work. I build almost everything in paths.
I use Freehand mostly though for all-vector work.
