I'm currently in search of something very similar to yahoogroups. I have a small discussion group that I would like to move away from yahoogroups to my own.

I want it so that if a user types a message to a main email address that all users on the list will receive that message.

Preferrably a web based control panel system for this would be ideal, someplace that can store user's name and email addresses and what not. Anyone know of such a script?

Any help would be appreciated.

Im unsure of this, but i know that many ISP's put a block on that kind of script as they class it as spamming.

(silly really, i have a use for it, but my ISP wont allow it)

you could try creating a forum or even try something similar like msn discussion groups..

you need a mysql database table with all the emails in it and a simple php script that will distribute the content to all the emails

Thank you, but I've found an excellent bare-bones system thru the Mailing List manager in CPanel.
