Sorry about the thread *In Search of a Reseller Host* that I entered that has been subsequently removed. I wasn't trying to solicit "offers" from any web hosters, but rather information (based upon experience) from forum members about web hosters that might actually reply to my requests. Due to my frustration in being unable to get responses from many web hosting companies, I thought I might try to shortcut the hassles.

Perhaps you should open a "Don't Bother to Contact" forum so that we don't waste our time trying to hunt down web hosters that place "offers" in the Offers Forum and then won't field your queries. Those guys should be banned from making offers.

Creating a thread "Don't Bother to Contact" won't work. An employee of a company could violate the rules, therefore, the whole host becomes blacklisted? I think not.

I would just keep "fishing",,, hopefully you can submit these questions more than once to the prospective host/hosts so as you get a "feel" for what kind of support to expect......

But, don't you realize that the failure to respond to your inquiries is just as beneficial as responding....sometimes, the host avoided is the best decision made.

Yep what he said.

If they do not reply in a reasoanbel amout of time you do not want to host with them anyway and you have just made your list a little shorter.
